Head of Catering and Events, Emma Woodcock said: “I am delighted to be surrounded by such talented and experienced colleagues.

“I am excited for the future of Keele University Events and Conferencing, welcoming our future guests and making a valuable contribution to Keele University.”

Joining them on the senior team is David Boothby, Head Chef, who has been at the University since 2020 and has worked closely with the senior team to develop a new and exciting catering offer for both conference delegates and university students across the catering outlets.

Jonathan Chambers is the latest member to join the team in the new position of Head of Catering Operations, leading the team at Keele Hall and University Catering, as part of the senior team within Events and Conferencing.

Jonathan said: “I’m very excited to be working alongside the team in driving the business forward both in the events and catering arena and re-invigorating the campus catering offer for students, staff and visitors.”

The new team will focus on delivery excellence, partnerships, profile, sustainability and increasing the financial surplus generation to reinvest back into the university.
